    HPV GIFT CARD

GIFT A TEST FOR ALL HIGH RISK STRAINS OF HPV TO A FRIEND

    $110 00

Buy an Eve Kit for someone you care about so that they can screen from home for high risk HPV, the virus that can lead to cervical cancer. Once you purchase the kit we'll contact you with options for sending the kit.

HPV is a common virus that 80% of all sexually active people will have at some point in their lives. There are over 100 strains of HPV, but only 14 of those strains are considered “high risk.” It’s these 14 strains that can potentially lead to cervical cancer. Most of the time, HPV infections are not harmful, and your body can clear the infection on its own. However in some cases, persistent infections with high risk HPV strains can develop into cervical cancer.

Your sample will be tested for these 14 high risk strains of HPV. However, you will receive just one result indicating whether your test was positive for any one of these strains or negative for all of them. Having a high risk HPV infection does not mean that you have cancer, but it is important to follow up on this result with a healthcare provider. Learn more about HPV.

A negative HPV result does not mean that you aren’t at risk of developing cervical cancer, and using Eve Kit is not a substitute for regular visits with a health provider. Additionally HPV is only one of several infections for which you may be at risk. You may want to consider additional testing. Consult your healthcare professional.

HPV testing is most effective in women (or trans men and non-binary individuals) over 30 who have not had a Pap test in the last 3 years.

*Note: HPV testing is less effective for cervical cancer screening in women under 30. HPV infections are common in this age group and will often clear on their own. More info here.
